Johannes Wahlström

Johannes Wahlström (*1981) ist ein preisgekrönter Journalist, Filmregisseur und Autor mit einem Abschluss in Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaft, Sozialanthropologie und Politikwissenschaft der Universität Stockholm.

Johannes Wahlström war Redakteur des Magazins Tromb (Magazin des Jahres 2006), als es Schwedens größtes Community-Magazin war. Er hat eine Reihe von Filmen für das schwedische Fernsehen gedreht (für die er mit den Preisen Kristallen, Guldspaden und Stora Journalistpriset ausgezeichnet wurde) und mit Wikileaks zusammengearbeitet - letzteren dokumentierte er in dem Film Mediastan, der von Ken Loachs Sixteen Films produziert wurde. Zusammen mit den Fotografen Klara Källström und Thobias Fäldt hat er mehrere Bücher im Verlag B-B-B-Books veröffentlicht. Seine künstlerischen Arbeiten wurden unter anderem im Hasselblad Center, Rencontres d’Arles und FG2 in Göteborg gezeigt.
